Memory pollution

Aim: students take care the planet

Materials: paper, scotch tape, scissor, markets and images
Duration: 20 minutes
Language focus: Pollution.  Causes, effects and prevention.

Aim of the game: Identifying and analyzing environmental issues.

Introduction
The pollution it is a big problem that affect people. The pollution increase with the same velocity that people grow. The teacher goes outside with her/his students. She/ he talks about the different pollution seeing outside the classroom. Pollution can involve everything round ours. The soil, the water, the air and also, nature. For this important to observe everything around the people in the big cities versus rural places. The teacher should show each minimum thing that represent that is pollution. The professor prepare in one copy sheet with pollution images, others with pollutions name and others ones with effect or causes about pollution in the world.
Preparation
To understand what it is pollution? The professor show students thought YouTube videos and real experiences how people are contaminating the world. The teacher explain pollution with video that search you tube. The pictures cards show water, air and earth pollution. The pictures cards also contains causes and effect of pollution.
The pictures cards are elaborate with images where the pollution is representing. The aim is that the teacher divide the group in two or three group depend on numbers of students. Then, the teacher put the pictures cards in the board with a scotch tape. The students cannot see the images because the pictures cards are flipped without let see content.
Playing the game
The group one and the group two should make a row in front the board. The first student of the group one in the row pass to in front of the pictures choose one card. Next, the student must associate the card that has in her/his hand with the others cards. Because he /she should guess which is the best pair card the complement the other card that has in her/his hand.
If the first student guess the pair the card can continue guessing but if student cannot guess should give opportunity to next student of the other group, so on. Each group can help her/his classmate while participate in the board. All postcards have pair.
When all the cards have its pair. The group one and group two should create two solutions for the pollution. And, explain in front in the class.
