Aim:  What are the most popular dishes in different places of Costa Rica? Materials: paper, scissor, markets and spinner. Duration: 20 minutes Language focus:  Costa Rican typical food What's typical from____? What do you eat for breakfast, lunch, etc. ____? Aim of the game: Identifying and analyzing different Costa Rican typical food.

Introduction

Costa Rica has been characterized for its friendly and strong culture, of course, the food plays an important  role in this strong culture ,  even though,  there are many  recipes, restaurants and foods from other cultures and places, is a must to conserve the roots. That is one of the reasons to learn about this delicious topic. 

Preparation

To understand what are some Costa Rican typical food the professor show students a little presentation about different places in Costa Rica and its famous or traditional food, this for improve the vocabulary and know new words about the topic.

The professor search in the internet some images about different Costa Rica typical food.

Finally, the professor assembles the images in a circle. And put each one in its place. In order that the students identifying the typical food. And when they move the spinners know what image is.

Playing the game

-          Students are going to pass in front to the class one by one, and they move the spinner and when the spinner stop they have to answer a question if the spinner is in that square that have this symbol ¿?, or if the spinner touch the different typical food they have to explain the class about it and say if they like it or no.
