                            TRANSPORTATION, QUALITY, RENTABILITY AND USE

                              

Aim: Responding with single words or short phrases to what is seen or heard.

Materials: A short video, picture cards, clay.

Duration: 10 minutes.

Language focus: Helicopter, bus, car, lorry, fire engine, van, pickup truck, jeep, police car, lift car, tractor.

Aim of the game: Students to identify different means of transportation, according to the picture being show.

Introduction

The teacher plays a video called “Cars film” related to transportation.

Play the Game

1. First, the class is divided into 3 pairs.

2. After, students are going to play “Charades” which consists in that one of the students place a picture card in his forehead and then, the person who is in front of has to recreate the picture by using clay to illustrate the image that is being shown to the other player to guess what mean of transportation it is.
