Aim:
Talking about different types of Costa
Rican typical food
Materials:
Cubes, Video in YouTube.
Duration: Preparation: 1 hour. Playing the game: 15 minutes.
Language focus: Discussing alternative possibilities and their consequences.
Aim of the game: Talking and
asking questions to review different types of Costa Rican typical food.
INTRODUCTION
At the beginning of the lesson teacher can start by asking a question like: What is your favorite typical food? What type of food do you prefer to eat the most? Afterwards the students will be in front of the class in a circle. And then the students will throw the cube that will have an image of different types of CR typical food, a question and an arrow that will show to then the classmate they will have to ask the question that is in the cube. They will have only one minute to ask the questions shown in the cube to the classmate the arrow points out. Each student will have to opportunity to have and respond a question.
PREPARATION
1-
Finding different images
with CR typical food in order to stick them in the Cube.
2-
Then preparing
different question related to the image of typical food shown.
Then stick in different direction arrows of each
side of the cube.
