How do you see the technology?

Aim: students learn to create strips about SCIENCE
AND TECHNOLOGY.
Materials: paper, scotch tape, scissor, markets and images
Duration: 20 minutes
Language focus: v How does science and technology affect
the discovery of.... v What's the future of...? Which are some applications of.... What are some fields of interest? Traveling to the outer space...
Aim of the game: Science and technology in Costa Rica and
in English speaking countries.
Grade : eleven graders.
Introduction
To understand
what it is technology? The professor show students thought YouTube videos and
real experiences how people create a new world. The strips show different kind
of technology. The strip also advantages and disadvantages about the technology.
Preparation
The strip are elaborate with images where the
technology is representing. The aim is that the teacher divide the group in two
or three group depend on numbers of students. Then, the teacher put the strip
in black where the students can create a new strip.
Playing the
game
The group one
and the group two should make a new one strip. The student write a funny or sad
strip. Next the student explain in front of the class the new strip that create
and say how, why and how create it.
