Aim:
Respond to some messages in short simple
sentences in a range of context.
Materials: Picture Cards.
Duration:
Preparation: 1 hour. Playing the game: 15 minutes
Language focus: Do you like ____? Have you ever ____? Have you gone/liked/enjoyed ____? Can I go to…? Yes, you can. No, you can’t.

Aim of the game:
Students to find tourist attractions offered
by Costa Rican communities. where they are allowed to go on vacations.
INTRODUCTION
At the
beginning of the class the teacher will ask to students some questions related
to the topic. The questions will be: Do you like ____? Have you ever ____? Have you gone/liked/enjoyed ____?
PREPARATION
1. The teacher gives each student an envelope containing 3 tourist attractions
and 3 questions.
2. Students must find what tourist
attractions they are allowed to go to.
ACTIVITY
1. The students must stand up.
2. Once they are standing, students should open their envelop. There they
are going to find 3 question cards that they have to use. Students should have
to ask each classmate what their card says. For example: Can I go to Manuel
Antonio Beach? If the student to whom the question is asked has a picture card
from Manuel Antonio Beach, this student must answer: Yes, you can go. But if this
student does not have it, the student should answer: No, you cannot go.
3. Then the student should continue trying to find the 3 destinations to
which is allowed to go.
4. At the end, when each student has its 3 can card pictures, they should
tell to the rest of the class about the places they are allowed to go.
