OUTLINE 6 7 & 8

What is your favorite sport?

Aim:  Identifying main points and specific details including opinions.

Materials: paper, scissor, markets, balls and images.
Duration: 20 minutes.
Language focus: Do you like to...?   -Can you play...?   -Which sports do you...? What kind of ____ do you need?  -Where is ____ played? Sports, leisure activities, equipment, etc.
Aim of the game: Sports and leisure activities.
Grade: nine grade.

Introduction
To understand what are different types of sport? The professor shows to the students YouTube videos and new vocabulary about sports, material and activities. The video shows the students all the information that they need to learn about sports (material that they need to practice some sport, clothes, kind of shoes and others).
Preparation
The activity is elaborated with different ball, and images about sports. The aim is that the teacher go out the class with the students, and talk about their favorite sport, they represent it with the image that the professor give. At the end all of them chose a sport and play it.

Playing the game
#1 The professor search a you tube video with the important information and vocabulary about sports.
#2 The professor prepares different sports images to give the students in the class.
#3 When the professor shows the video and the students learn about it, and all of them have their image, they go outside the class.
#4 Each student talks about its favorite sport (clothes, shoes, ball, and others) or about the sport that they have represented in the image.
#5 Finally, the group choose a sport and all of them play it. To have a funny day in the school or high school.

The importance of the technology in our lives.

Aim:  Identifying specific details including opinions.

Materials: paper, scissor, pen, markets.
Duration: 20 minutes.
Language focus:  Expressing opinions. Expressing advantages and disadvantages.
Aim of the game:  Computers and technology today in our lives.
Grade: nine grade.

Introduction
The professor shows to the students a presentation about computer and technology today in our lives, the power point presentation is about new vocabulary, advantages, disadvantages and technology importance.
Preparation
The activity is elaborated with papers, and markets The aim is that the teacher give to the class a paper and give them a number, one, two and three,  when the class is divided they have to write the technology advantages and disadvantages and present it to the other classmates, they do a kind of presentation.

Playing the game
#1 The professor do the power point presentation with an important information and vocabulary to their students.
#2 The professor divides the class with numbers.
#3 The professor give to their students a paper and markets, in which they present to their classmates the advantages and disadvantages of the technology and its importance in our live.

Environmental pollution, how to avoid it?

Aim:  Understanding short narratives drawn from a variety of topics.

Materials: paper, pen, markets.
Duration: 20 minutes.
Language focus:   Identifying and analyzing environmental issues.
Aim of the game:  Causes, effects, and prevention of environmental pollution.
Grade: nine grade.

Introduction
The professor put audios to their students and they use the audios to complete a information about different pollute environment, then the professor use a power point presentation to explain them the target content.

Preparation
The activity is elaborated with a song and paper in which the students complete the blanks. The aim is that the teacher explain the power point presentation and at the end the class do a role play about how to avoid the pollute environments, about their consequences and causes.

Playing the game
#1 The professor plays the audio to the class, and they complete the blanks with the correct information.
#2 The professor shows a power point presentation with a lot information about the target content.
#3 At the end the students are divided in groups and do a role play, regarding how to care the environment, how to avoid the environmental pollution and its causes and consequences.
